TRIPLE ART: For the first class we made our art folders and then got to pick something from the classroom to draw. I drew a bottle of hand cream. For the second and third class Ms Lawn brought us down town. Ava Aisling and myself went to the cemetery and drew the headstones there while everyone else split up to other parts of the town to draw other interesting looking things.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE PROGRAMME
Friday:
IRISH: We watched a short film called 'clare sa speir' as part of our movie studies course. It was about an irish mother called Clare who wanted to break the world record for staying up in a tree. She did this to prove to her husband and children that she wasn't just a mother and wife. In doing this her husband realised that he wasn't helping around the house enough nor was he spending enough time with the children. Clare spent 32 days in the tree house thinking she had beaten the world record of 31 days. However the world record was actually 31 years. This didn't matter in the end though because the family had learned that they are lucky to have Clare on a daily basis. While watching the film we had to answer 8 questions.
SCIENCE(x2): We got into our groups and organised our 1 page proposal. After changing a few things, Ms Barry let us register online for the BT Young Scientist.
MATHS: We started module 2 in Analytics.
MUSIC: We got into groups to focus on one aspect of music genres as part of our mid-term project. I am in a group with Ava, Chloe and Rose. We are doing our project on country music. We listed all the well known country singers and brainstormed our ideas.
ENGLISH: We focused on Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech. We discussed the language used and the imagery in the speech.
